Money Confidence

Coaching and guidance for women on Vancouver Island wanting to feel in control. Helping you form and reach your vision of the future.

A serene coastal-inspired home office with a large window revealing a softly blurred glimpse of the Comox Valley shoreline and distant mountains. In the foreground, a tidy white desk holds a sleek laptop displaying a simple, colorful pie chart and bar graph, a navy-blue mug, and a small potted fern in a matte ceramic pot. A corkboard on the wall is neatly arranged with pastel sticky notes labeled “Savings,” “Goals,” and “Retirement,” all carefully aligned. Gentle late-morning natural light fills the room, creating a bright, airy feel with soft shadows under the objects. Photographic realism, framed using the rule of thirds at eye level, creates a calm, professional, and aspirational mood, suggesting clarity and financial empowerment from home.
A carefully organized budgeting binder open on a textured linen table runner, showing a clear plastic sleeve with labeled envelopes: “Groceries,” “Fun,” “Emergency,” and “Future Me,” each containing crisp Canadian bills. Beside the binder sits a slim, rose-gold pen, a small stack of pale blue sticky notes with concise handwritten reminders, and a white ceramic bowl holding smooth grey and sand-colored stones reminiscent of a Vancouver Island beach. Warm, diffused afternoon light from the upper left creates cozy highlights on the plastic envelopes and gentle shadows along the linen texture. Photographic realism with a close, slightly angled composition and shallow depth of field captures a grounded, hands-on, and reassuring approach to managing money.

Meet Ann Waring

I’m Ann, a Licensed and Regulated Life Insurance Agent with World Financial Group. We are independent agents, with support, and are trained to coach, lead, teach and advise on Life Insurance and Investing in Segregated Funds which are an insurance product. Because I started out with little financial knowledge and am now able to advise and coach, I know how it feels to be starting out on your financial journey.

I would love to help you become educated and knowledgeable as well.

If it interests you, and you enjoy learning about financial concepts, a career in finance is possible. I would be happy to look at the possibility with you.

Meet Ann

A close-up of a polished glass jar slowly filling with Canadian coins and neatly folded bills, labeled with a white tag reading “Future Freedom” in tidy navy script. The jar stands centered on a smooth, light wood kitchen table with a subtle grain, next to a simple white ceramic vase holding a single sprig of eucalyptus. Overcast daylight filters through a nearby window, creating a soft, even illumination with minimal shadows and a serene, balanced tone. Captured from a slightly elevated angle with the jar in sharp focus and the background fading into gentle bokeh, the photographic, minimalist composition suggests steady progress, security, and approachable money management.

Understands what it is like to have no knowledge and to be starting from the beginning.

Financial coach dedicated to helping women feel calm, clear, and confident about money.

A large, detailed financial roadmap sketched across a crisp white sheet of paper, spread on a clean desk. The roadmap uses flowing teal and deep blue arrows connecting labeled milestones like “Start Budget,” “Pay Off Debt,” “Build Emergency Fund,” and “Invest with Confidence.” Surrounding the paper are neatly arranged tools: a navy fountain pen, a simple silver laptop closed to suggest focus, and a small ceramic bowl filled with smooth beach pebbles. Soft afternoon light streams from the right, creating subtle highlights on the ink and faint shadows along the paper’s edges. Photographic realism, shot from an overhead bird’s-eye perspective with sharp focus throughout, gives a clear, structured, and encouraging atmosphere of guidance and direction.

Brings years of experience in insurance, investing, and real-life budgeting to every conversation.
